As you know, the National Cherry Blossom Festival is Washington DC’s signature springtime event, attracting over 1.5 million attendees annually. Each year, the Festival raises funds to sustain the Festival’s four=week event schedule to ensure residents and visitors continue to enjoy Washington DC as an experience destination for a longer period of time beyond the blossoms and beyond the Tidal Basin. The National Cherry Blossom Festival is an economic engine for area businesses generating over $160 million in spending each spring.
The national Cherry Blossom Festival is a 501c(3) non-profit organization.
